Ihima women carryout protest against aggression in their land in Kogi Central.

Ihima women carryout a massive protest on Saturday 16^th February 2019, protest to  renewed the political violence that has claimed the lives of their people not less than three losses, more than twenty injured from gunshot in Obeiba axis of Ihima, Okehi local government area of Kogi state.

The protest was merge by all the cabinet women in Okehi Local Government Area, from Obeiba, Oboroke, Ikuehi and Ihima, call for peace and reliability of their land and for lay to rest the issue of killing and destroying of  properties, enough is enough and wouldn’t want more bloodshed in their land.

The women, Speaking on behalf of  the protested women, Hajia Abisetu said  that the able bodied men killed in Obeiba since the sponsored aggression by Okehi Administrator and Commissioner for water resources, Salami Ozigi is enough, they all saying with a great wrath, that they don’t want more of their children to be killed.

Hajia Abisetu also said that they are ready to continue and carryout the protest down to the house of the Administrator in Eyika of Okehi if he continued to murder their children to scare the people of entire Ihima for voting for Barr. Natasha Akpoti, the SDP senatorial candidate for Kogi Central.
